Join ASTD WV Charles Town GIG for May's Lunch 'n Learn!
This special event will include a tour of the US Customs & Border Protection Advanced Training Center (CBP ATC) in Harpers Ferry, WV as well as a presentation from Gary Taylor, Supervisor of Training Design at CBP ATC.
The focus will be on the ASTD Competency of Instructional Design - one of the 'pillars of our industry.' After a tour of the facilities Gary will review a newly developed program titled the Course Development Course. He will discuss what this course is about, who the target audience was, and why this course was so important.
Upon arrival all visitors will be required to provide photo identification or CBP credentials for admittance. All visitors are to report to the Visitors Center outside the front gate to obtain their visitors badge and transportation from the Visitors Center through the campus will be provided.
Lunch will not be provided and it is reccomended that you bring a lunch. The new Dining Hall may be open by the time of this event and a follow up email will be sent to all registered attendees on the status of this facility.
