ATD Employee Learning Week (ELW) is an opportunity for companies and chapters to demonstrate their commitment to talent development. During the week, champions of learning remind employees about all of the learning and talent development opportunities they can access.

ATD research shows that organizations continue to invest in growing the knowledge and skills of their workforce. “Increasingly, business leaders realize that the most important asset in our knowledge economy is talent, and a skilled workforce is the key to realizing results. We encourage all organizations to demonstrate their commitment to learning by recognizing Employee Learning Week,” says Tony Bingham, ATD President and CEO.

To celebrate ELW, the ASTD West Virginia chapter wants to recognize your companies’/organizations’ commitment to learning and employee development.  During our ELW Virtual Celebration and Recognition on Friday, December 11, 2020 at noon, we invite you to share how:

    • 1.     Your L&D team adapted in response to COVID-19, and
    • 2.     Any other notable initiatives implemented/held in 2020.

To participate, please send the following information by Friday, November 27, 2020 to marysbolton@gmail.com:

    • ·       The company’s name,
    • ·       Brief details of how your organization adapted during COVID-19,
    • ·       Brief details of the learning and development initiatives during 2020,
    • ·       Any associated pictures, PowerPoint slides, etc.,
    • ·       The name and email of the workplace learning and development manager, and
    • ·       Your organizations logo that will be included in a presentation.
